Various Male and Female Rats
I have several rats aging from 5 months to 1 yr which are in need of new homes where they can be doted on. They are all loves, and they pour out of thier cages when it's feeding or cleaning time. I would love to keep them, but in order to continue to take rats in to be saved, some must go to new homes. These have been saved from various situations, either rescued "feeder" rats, rats that no one wanted any longer, or they were found outside running around. Rats in this area are not wild unless in the rural areas and fancy rats no matter of location are never "wild" rats.
Umbrella Cockatoo - ADOPTED
Daisy is a 4-5 yr old Umbrella. She is in good feather and a joy to have around. She says "Hello", laughs and says "I love you". She has no behavioral issues and did well with her wing, toenail and beak trimming. She is beautiful.
Umbrella Cockatoo - ADOPTED
Max just became the newest victim of our economy. His owner is homeless and asked me to take him in for a more stable enviroment. He is an 11 yr old sweetheart with no behavior issues aside from an occasional beaking when he doesn't want you to do something. He is in perfect feather and wonderful. He is shy around other birds (he was terrified of the other toos) but has now adjusted to life in a flock. I'm sure he would love his own home though since he is used to being the baby.
Eleanora Cockatoo - ADOPTED
Pretzel is a male Eleanora that is about 4-5 yrs old. He is a doll, although fighting a screaming issue. He screams for attention and is in the process of learning he gets more attention and privledges by being quiet or just talking. The only word I've heard is "hi" but he does grumble alot. He has a shoe fettish and attacks shoes if given the chance whether they have feet in them or not. I am working on breaking that as well. He is learning the cat tail is not a toy and other general house rules. He is smart and fun to have, however his new owner may do well to invest in some good earplugs for his wake up time.
4 Lovebird Babies - ADOPTED
There are 4 lovebird babies that will be ready in about 2-3 weeks. 1 is a standard color, 2 are blue factor sea green and 1 is a lutino pied strong green. They are handfed and will be VERY social.
Kittens! - ADOPTED
I have 3 kittens that were found under my porch in my new house. There are 2 solid black ones that are short hair and 1 long hair tuxedo. A black one and the tuxedo are females, the other is male. They are 6 weeks old and finally eating solid food now, and so ready to move on to thier forever homes. They will come with thier first shot and arrangements for the 2nd shot.
Guinea Pigs - ADOPTED
My friend has 4 guinea pigs that need rehomed. 2 are rescues that I took in this winter and she was fostering them for me and 2 are her own. She has had serious health issues come up and is no longer able to care for these little girls as she would like. The best thing for them is for them to finally be adopted. They are all fairly young and all girls.
